Shirin Naveed is an interdisciplinary artist, spatial designer, DJ, and creative producer working at the intersections of architecture, public art, community engagement, sound, and the migrant experience. Their practice explores how spaces shape identities and the relationships between communities and their environments.
Working across craft, carpentry, photography, sound, and 3D design, Shirin uses co-design, workshops, oral histories, and research to surface collective narratives and build social infrastructures. Collaboration and collective action are central to their approach. As a core member of DAYTIMERS and Mehfil Arts, Shirin DJs and produces events in solidarity with community-led spaces. They are currently pursuing a Master’s in Architecture at the RCA and recently co-designed ARRIVALS, the first dedicated South Asian space at Glastonbury.
